Dismantling work on a coal grinding plant in Schelklingen
The project required both careful planning and flexible coordination of modern machinery to ensure the highest safety and environmental protection standards.
Work carried out
- Complete design of the dismantling measure
- Preliminary dismantling of chimneys, filters, classifiers, bunkers and conveying equipment at a height of up to 30 m above ground level in compliance with stringent explosion protection requirements
- Dismantling of a self-supporting feeder bridge over the plant technology to be preserved in a tandem lift
- Inertization and dismantling of the ball mill
- Dismantling of insulation containing KMF, pipe and machine insulation in compliance with TRGS 521
- Conventional dismantling of the building using a 33 m long front excavator and a 50 t chain excavator
- Dismantling the floor slab and the plant/building foundations
- Processing of the rubble into a 0/45 mineral mixture
