With the "Rondo-Steinheim" shopping center in Hanau, Schoofs set standards for a vibrant shopping center. Initially, a large building complex had to be demolished at the site, including the removal of pollutants and earthworks.

In addition to the good references and the good price, Mohamed Younis, Managing Director of Schoofs Immobilien GmbH Frankfurt, was convinced that he had found the right partner for the project after talking to Carsten Knepper on an equal footing.

It was important for the project to win over the citizens of Steinheim for the building project. Knepper set an example with the demolition of what was then an eyesore, an old furniture store that had been empty for over 10 years: The first "excavator parade" was led by the Lord Mayor of Hanau Claus Kaminsky together with the project managers, who walked from the town center to the construction site in front of Knepper's excavators. This marked the spectacular start of the demolition.

The successful implementation of this first project laid the valuable foundation for the partnership between the two companies. There are now over 30 projects, which have become ever larger and more demanding. Growing together only works with mutual appreciation and the same perspective.
